~ About Me ~

Talitha C. Seibel

With over 25 years as a Skilled Help Practionioner in multiple industries, my unique skills and training, as well as extensive life experience, are the foundation for my doula-style and trauma-informed approach to coaching and consulting.

I am a mother and coparent of 9 wonderful young people through adoption, birth, fostercare, and guardianship, so the bonds of family connection and growth are a dear priority to me.

From planning weddings and special events to working in South America with abandoned youth, attending births as a childbirth doula, and serving the foster care and special needs communities as an advocate and mentor, I have extensive experience in walking through major life events with others as a support and guide. These experiences are the foundation of my service as a wellness and life coach, and my focus on family connection and parenting growth through the Flourish consulting process.

What do I mean by “doula-styled” care?
Over the years, I have attended nearly 400 women and their families through pregnancy and birth, coaching through pregnancy and as a certified birth doula. I love the role of partnering with guardian angels, as I call it, to enter into the intimate sacred space of a birth room and serve a woman in labor. I have used that process to form my unique approach toward my services for families.

While working with youth in crisis, foster and adoptive families, and DFCS in the state of Georgia, I have found this foundation to be a powerful approach to supporting family preservation at all levels.

core values
and foundational Concepts

Coaching is a well-established helping discipline based on skilled training and Positive Psychology Practices. Rather than counseling and therapy, this method addresses challenging situations with a practical approach toward discovering core values and principles that you can immediately apply to your life. This approach offers a highly effective method of processing current life events and working toward healthy goals by rediscovering current resources and abilities, exploring new strengths, and aiding growth toward a whole-and-well lifestyle.
Two sets of hands joined in support of one another
I practice a Positive Psychology coaching model of accompaniment rather than traditional counseling because I see it as the best approach to aiding families in building unity and healing through my extensive studies in trauma care and human development. Utilizing God's beautiful design of the human soul, we focus not on the past but on current resources and abilities, aiding you in moving with purpose and strength toward a whole-and-well lifestyle and healing.
While religious belief is not always a factor in the needs of each particular client, my services are deeply informed by my Christian faith and the core principles of the dignity of persons taught by Pope JPII and The Theology of The Body Institute. My dynamic spiritual life and faith practice are integral to the way that I see the beauty and value of each unduplicable and irreplaceable person that I am honored to serve in the capacity of a Multi-Disciplinary, Skilled Help Practitioner. I both welcome questions about the faith dynamic in my approach and also honor the desire of clients who wish to exclude the discussion of religion from our working relationship.
